To challenge cancer successfully demands innovative therapeutics that specifically target tumour tissue, while sparing healthy tissues. To accomplish this goal, MolMed is building up an integrated strategy to cure cancer, based on different approaches: 
  • vascular targeting, by developing a novel class of recombinant therapeutic proteins that act selectively on tumour blood vessels, forming the basis behind NGR-hTNF and other candidates in the pipeline, such as NGR-IFNg;

  • cell-based therapy with genetic modification, forming the basis behind TK.
